In 2020 A2A awarded contract for Arteak to provide industrial emergency rescue services and HSSE support and surveillance for confined space works during assets maintenance engineering projects.
Project scope includes 9 power stations across Italy with provision of emergency rescue teams, each composed of 2 industrial emergency responders with expertise on confined spaces, rope access, firefighting and healthcare. Besides minimum requirements set by Client and local regulations, Arteak operating procedures requires further qualifications requirements and cross skills for its Industrial Emergency Responders, so to guarantee the best quality and efficiency standards for the service delivery.
Indeed, Arteak believes in the value of competences, experience, and technical skills, that’s why our Industrial Emergency Responders are qualified up to internationally recognized standards covering all key areas of expertise which are required for industrial emergency response. This includes certifications as Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Technician, American Heart Association (AHA) CPR, First Aid and AED Provider, International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Provider. Furthermore, all Arteak ERT technicians receive internal training up to EN standards and regulations for advanced confined space entry and rescue with self-contained breathing apparatus.
Way beyond stand-by rescue services, Arteak interventions are aimed at providing HSSE advise and technical support for client and contractors personnel.
Therefore, daily tasks performed by our team include workplace classification, consulting for HazID and risk assessment, preparation of specific rescue plans, field-level risk assessments with front-line supervisors and permit holders, installation of fall protection systems and rescue devices, HSE surveillance, training and coaching for client and contractors work crews.
