Compliance of contractors to client standards and industry best practices — while successfully implementing local content policies — is one of the most difficult challenges in project HSSE management. Arteak Safety Academy Programmes are designed to address this directly.

Each programme begins with the definition of a harmonised Training and Qualification Framework for project personnel and safety instructors at corporate level. Arteak’s qualified safety instructors then deliver Train the Trainer programmes to bring local instructors to the required competency standard.

Once local resources have been awarded Qualified Safety Instructor status, they manage training delivery independently — with Arteak providing support for subject areas where local resources are not yet qualified and for third-party competency assessments. At scale, Arteak also organises international workshops and events for qualified instructors and key client and contractor personnel to share best practices across regions.

For large-scale projects requiring systematic management of training activity, Arteak provides dedicated HSSE Training Coordinators to support the client’s HSE Department. This service covers:

• Design of dedicated training structures and practical exercise facilities at client locations
