Our Services

HSSE Qualification of Contractors

Our Operational Readiness Validation service completes the supplier qualification process with depth and rigour. Through document-based analysis and in-depth field audits, we assess the quality of your contractors’ Safety Management Systems against both your requirements and industry standards — ensuring they are genuinely capable of delivering safe projects, not simply compliant on paper.

Where gaps are identified, we work with the contractor to create bridging documents and procedures, develop a robust Project HSSE Plan, and set appropriate project KPIs. Our recommendations may include review of HSSE Objectives and Targets, Standard Operating Procedures, PPE and equipment standards, and the introduction of additional HSSE Surveillance Overlay.

HSSE Qualification of Contractors

HSSE Competency Assessment

Arteak develops and supports clients in establishing structured HSSE competency assurance systems and programmes. Our assessment process involves desktop-based analysis, individual interviews, and site visits — evaluating candidates against the full range of competencies relevant to their job profile.

Topics covered include Roles and Responsibilities, Soft Skills, Life Saving Rules, HSSE Policies, and hazardous activities standards such as Lifting and Hoisting, Working at Height, Excavations, and Confined Space Entry.

At programme completion, we provide a full assessment report and targeted improvement plan — including specific retraining content to bring individuals to the required level. Aggregate data analysis across the programme enables clients to identify common gaps and build focused corrective strategies at corporate level.

HSSE Competency Assessment

Site Safety Compliance Assessment

Arteak conducts site safety assessments at client locations, monitoring and reporting outcomes consistently with Safety Compliance and Assurance Programmes and Safety Management System audit plans.

Our assessments cover document-based analysis of key HSSE documentation — including Safety Work Procedures, PTW Systems, Project HSSE Plans, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements — alongside physical site visits to verify that procedures are being applied in practice.

Findings are consolidated to identify both site-level corrective actions and broader corporate patterns, enabling clients to design and roll out targeted HSE campaigns and initiatives.

Site Safety Compliance Assessment

Self-Performed Site Review Training

Arteak provides orientation training for local resources appointed to manage Site Safety Reviews at site and project level, as part of an overall framework for safety assurance.

The training programme includes both classroom and on-field elements and covers:

  • Overview of the Safety Assurance strategy and framework
  • Review of safety recommended practices and applicable standards
  • Practice runs of Self-Performed Site Safety Reviews — monitoring implementation of applicable standards, communicating results, and defining and tracking corrective actions

At programme completion, a debrief meeting is held with delegates and the project team to share self-assessment results and identify opportunities for improvement.
